Smart Mobility Service Points to support travel chains and mobility
Urban populations are growing and mobility is in transition. Different forms of transport and solutions must change alongside needs to keep traffic functioning well. Travel chains need new services, while the traditional infrastructure is becoming outdated. It is time to convert vacant spaces into service points for smart mobility.
Service points are located in public-transport hubs, areas with a high number of workplaces, a railway and metro station and shopping centres. Our target is to create a comprehensive network of service points to facilitate people’s daily travel chains.

Small unmanned service points and safe parking solutions
At its lightest, a service point is a self-service commuter parking or regular parking space close to a traffic hub.
Small service points act as stations for city bikes and electric scooters, provide a safe place to park and charge electric bikes and scooters, and maybe a chance to replace your electric scooter battery with a fresh one.
Continuous real-time remote monitoring and, among other things, the facilities to maintain your bike make everyday mobility more fluent.
Service points around the city, at stations, campuses and shopping centres
Manned and larger service points support all forms of mobility and travel chains.
Rolan’s service point solution includes payable bike parking and a bike hotel with services, charging of batteries in electric bikes and scooters, battery swapping, equipment maintenance, and pick-up point services.
Service points near central locations are natural access points for travel chains: First- and last-mile journeys combined with public transport, stations for shared devices and equipment rental offer a good service level for customers, local residents and commuters alike.
From a parking building to a service centre – a new hub for mobility
Traditional parking buildings are usually located in busy transport hubs, and have a solid infrastructure.
At their best, service centres provide commuter parking, stations for car sharing, bikes and electric scooters, and a service point for private transport and cars.
Manned maintenance and pick-up point services and charging of electric bikes, scooters and cars are core services, as are safe bike parking, and hotel and the related services. Parcel points and a pick-up point for online store purchases also make daily life easier.
